Baltimore Inner Harbor

I love the Inner Harbor.  It is beautiful and there is so much to do there!

We wanted to take my parents to Phillip’s Restaurant.  We were pleasantly surprised that they moved into a new building.  Everything was wonderful – the service, the new location, and the food!

I love the Inner Harbor, though I have not been there in a number of years. Is that wonderful aquarium still there?

Thanks Susan! Yes, I was amazed to find that there are actually 2 national aquariums. One is in DC. The Baltimore location is lovely.

Sorry I get grumpy late at night and I am trying to get something done before I hit the sack.

Kind of reminds me of our Darlington Harbor in Sydney Australia. By the water is always a great place to find a fine restaurant for whatever you’re in the mood for, and luckily not just seafood ‘cos I only like fish.

Thanks Leigh. Interesting! I didn’t realize that you are doing all your camping in Australia.

I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for about 11 years and it reminds me of the area they call “the Landing” in downtown Jacksonville on the St. Johns River. Beautiful! 🙂

Thanks Knikkolette. There is something great about being near the ocean, or a river, or large lake. I am always drawn to water.

Wow, I love those drums! I can just imagine my little ones wiggling their hips to the beat and dancing about. I know I’d have a hard time not joining them. It is always very peaceful down near the water. What a beautiful and vibrant place to unwind over the weekend.

I visited Baltimore a good few years ago. My Uncle worked and lived near there. Had a good day out although didn’t really see that much of the place. Would like to visit again one day.

Wow, David. There are a lot of dangerous parts of Baltimore, too. Every city has many faces. Sounds like you stayed in a good part with your uncle.

I’ve never been to Baltimore, though I’d love to visit. From your post Inner harbor is definiitvely a place to be. Love it.
