Incredible Glass Art – Dale Chihuly

Dale Chihuly

I love his passion with glass art, the colors and the drama!  He studied at the University of Wisconsin, that is where my husband went to school.  He also studied in Venice with the masters, and made glass art a whole new topic of his own!

Thank goodness for the internet, where we can enjoy so much and learn without having to travel to experience everything in person.  That would be nice, too, of course!

Have you had the chance to see his work in person Sally? I saw it in an exhibit at one of the local museums, almost before I knew who he was. Then I saw a few HUGE installations at the casino at Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. They were magnificent.

That sounds wonderful, Denise! Paradise Island is great, too!

I don’t know, but hotels and casinos seem to love having his artwork around!

Gorgeous I love glass art especially when it is displayed with different types of light shining through it. There is something magical about it 🙂
