What does a Kukaburra sound like?

My friend Kathie M. Thomas is a great photographer in Australia.  I love her photos, especially birds and scenery!

Today, she sent out photos on her blog about Kukaburras.

I was curious about the sound that they make, especially since they are named Laughing Kukaburras.

Let me know if this is new for you, too!

Great videoa with  Kukaburra birds  singing!

The cute children’s song-

Some facts from Wikipedia – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kookaburra  The birds are carnivorous.  They eat young birds of other species, lizards, mice, and more.  Some will accept meat from humans.
Lots of great facts from the National Geographic website.  They say that this bird can grow to 18 inches, and it’s beak can be up to 4 inches long.  They are the largest bird in the Kingfisher family.  They live in Australia.
