Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a fun day. I love to watch the Macy’s parade on tv. Now that we live in the Philadelphia area, we watch some of the parade that takes place here as well.

Traditional food, being with the people that you love, it can be a great day.

Not everyone has loving family times to remember or share. I hope that you find friends to fill that need that we all have.

One year, my husband and I traveled to the Carolinas for Thanksgiving. We looked for a place to eat on an island. The only restaurant that was open was a little place that looked like a fishing boat. It was a local place. Not fancy at all. Even the tiny bathroom looked like it belonged on a boat – tiny and added on to the small building. We were a little wary of eating there. They had just two dinner servings left of turkey==it was wonderful! I will never forget that funny little dinner that we shared that year.

We look forward to spending a nice day together, and hope that you have a great day as well.

It’s true that not everybody has family to share Thanksgiving (or other holidays) with. Thanks for your wish that everybody finds friends to share the holidays with.

I have often invited friends for Thanksgiving who have different backgrounds. It is so interesting to see how they respond to our ‘traditional’ holiday fare.

It’s ironic, I grew up on Long Island but have never been to the actual Macy’s Parade. We always watched it on TV. May you be blessed with a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I prefer watching parades on tv anyway – you can stay warm and find the restroom when you need it! LOL

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving since that would probably be treason. However I hope you all have a good time. Don’t eat too much.
